Staffordshire Police announced yesterday (2 May) that an arrest has been made in connection to a sexual assault case from 2021.
A woman was attacked on Saturday 24 April 2021 at 5.00pm while walking her dog in a woodland area near the Star Inn on Walsall Road, Great Wyrley.
A man (30) has now been arrested on suspicion of rape and sexual assault. According to Staffordshire Police, the man in custody is from the Walsall area.
As of today (3 May) the suspect remains in custody and is being questioned.
