Magnitude 4.4 earthquake felt across Stoke-on-Trent

A 4.4 magnitude earthquake that struck near Swansea has been felt by thousands across the country, including Stoke-on-Trent.

The British Geological Survey tracked the epicentre, which hit shortly after 2.30pm today (February 17) 20km north-east of Swansea, at a depth of 7.4km.
