The Old Rectory care home in Uttoxeter has been put on the market as a freehold property. The selling of the facility is being handled by Bond Wolfe who are accepting offers over £1.2 million.
The 800 sq ft care home is currently operational and caters to individuals over the age of 65. It would be a good investment option for individuals in the care sector who own other facilities.
The old part of the building dates back to 1900. Extension work was carried out on the property in 1989. A refurbishment took place in 2011. 20 of the 30 bedrooms are en-suite.
James Mattin, the managing director of Bond Wolfe, stated “…its village location and stunning views sets it apart, and we would urge any interested parties to contact us to arrange to see the property at first hand.”
While the home has operational viability, it could also be purchased with alternative uses in mind.
