A teenage boy has sadly died after sustaining injuries from a collision in Lichfield on Friday (31 May).
Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service paramedics were called to Ash Grove, Lichfield at 6.30pm.
A Nissan Qashqai had hit the teenager, who was a pedestrian, a short time before. The driver of the Nissan Qashqai stayed at the scene and assisted the police with their enquiries.
The crash area was cordoned off to allow the police to conduct a full investigation.
Police ask anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage that could help with the investigation to contact them on 101 and by quoting incident 544 of 31 May.
