Staffordshire Police have announced that they arrested two men on suspicion of supplying cocaine. These men were also arrested for the possession of weapons.
One of the men is 29 and from the Stafford area, while the other man is 30 and from the Cannock area.
These arrests were made after police stopped a man on Wolverhampton Road at 3pm on Tuesday (April 30). Cocaine and a mobile phone were seized from the individual.
Police later searched the home of one of the suspects in Cannock, where they found class-A drugs and incapacitant spray. Police officers seized cash, drugs, and a mobile phone.
Enquiries are still ongoing and the two men have been released.
Staffordshire Police are currently carrying out Operation Target, which was launched last year. This campaign aims to proactively target and control organised crime across the Staffordshire area.
