Adam Watkins, of Stoke-on-Trent, was sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison on Wednesday (15 May). Watkins, 20, pleaded guilty at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court to the supply of heroin, cocaine, and cannabis.

In May 2023, Watkins was stopped in Fenton. Staffordshire Police seized two phones and found messages related to drug distribution. 

Police then searched Watkins’ Fenton home and found £3,600 worth of cannabis contained in various jars, tubs, and paper bags. 

A bag containing £1,400 worth of cocaine was seized. The police also seized a knife and £900 in cash. Overall, £5k worth of drugs were taken from Watkins. 

Following the sentence, DC Lewis Hackney stated: “I’m pleased we’ve been able to jail another dealer who was intent on distributing harmful drugs within our communities.”
