Staffordshire Police are appealing for information after a man allegedly assaulted a woman on 9 May in Cannock. 

A man, who had been driving a white van, allegedly hit a woman with a wrench. Police were called to Brownhills Road in Norton Canes just before 7.00pm. 

The woman sustained injuries from the attack and was taken to hospital. She was later discharged. 

Police have described the man as having a large build and being roughly 30 years old. He is also described as having short brown hair and to have been wearing a grey jumper at the time. 

Police have asked that anyone with any information related to the incident or who has any dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage that could help to contact them on 101. They should quote incident 509 of 28 May.
