A man has sadly died following a collision involving two cars on Rawnsley Road.
The incident took place on Sunday (21 July). Staffordshire Police were called to the scene at 7.45pm having received a report of a two-car collision in Hednesford, Cannock.
A Vauxhall Mokka and a black Mercedes AMG C were involved in the collision.
Paramedics on the scene found the driver of the Vauxhall in critical condition. Despite best efforts to treat the man, he was later declared dead at the scene.
A passenger in the Vauxhall sustained minor injuries and was taken to hospital.
The driver and the passenger in the Mercedes were discharged at the scene.
Staffordshire Police are appealing for information related to the collision. Those who witnessed the crash, or captured relevant dashcam, doorbell, or CCTV footage, should contact the police on 101, quoting incident 594 of 21 July.
