The badly damaged Super Smart Service warehouse is set to be demolished following the four-day blaze at Cannock’s Kingswood Lakeside business park.
The Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service arrived on the scene last Thursday (9 May) following initial reports of the warehouse fire.
Crews remained on site for four days before announcing on Monday (13 May) that the fire had been extinguished.
The number of crews on site has since been scaled back. The remains of the warehouse are now being prepared for demolition.
None of the 573 employees of Super Smart Service were injured during the blaze. Evri, whose lorries were pictured next to the blaze, have also confirmed that none of their employees were injured.
Staffordshire Police were pictured near the warehouse yesterday. It is reported that an investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
