Keele University has announced a new sport and science course that will be delivered through the faculty of medicine.
The new BSc Sport and Exercise Science course will focus on the importance of science in sports and exercise.
Students will learn how to implement science in helping athletes train for major tournaments and maintain performance levels. They’ll also understand how specific sports and physical activity can be used to help treat injuries and chronic diseases.
Specifically, this course will help students who want to start careers in exercise, sport, and health sectors.
The university’s brand-new Exercise and Physiology Laboratories will be used for the course. Academics from the university’s School of Allied Health Professions will help to deliver the course.
