The North Staffordshire Justice Centre approved a three-month closure order on Tuesday (4 June) against a property located at Church View, Church Street, Stone.
Staffordshire Police had presented the case to the Justice Centre after responding to repeated anti-social behaviour issues at the property.
Now, no member of the public is permitted to enter the property until September, when the closure order ends. This includes the property’s outbuildings and garden.
Unless permission is granted by either the Justice Centre or Staffordshire Police, anyone caught entering the property over the next three months could be arrested.
It is hoped now that Church View residents will no longer be disturbed by anti-social behaviour issues.
In a statement, Staffordshire Police urged anyone who witnesses anti-social behaviour to contact them on 101 to report the issue – or 999 in the case of an emergency.
