Anasma Italian Cuisine is set to open this month (May) after over 6 months of preparation.
Last month, the Anasma Greek Bakery announced on Instagram that their new Italian-themed venture would open in May in Trentham Shopping Village.
The Anasma Greek Bakery, also located in Trentham Estate, has been a huge success since opening in 2023. The Greek taverna has introduced Staffordshire to some of Greece’s best delicacies – now, owner Mariana Anastasiou wants to try her hand at Italian cooking with her new venture.
In the Instagram post, Anastasiou shared how she had been experimenting with Italian cuisine over the last 6 months and is now prepared to serve it at Anasma’s new venue.
The head chef at Anasma Greek Bakery, who has over 25 years of experience cooking Italian food, will lead the kitchen at the new venue. Pizza and pasta are to be expected, alongside many unique Italian delicacies.
Anasma Italian Cuisine has signage up and is believed to be opening soon, although an official opening date is yet to be announced.
The unit was formally occupied by a Spanish tapas restaurant called Can Do Cocina.
The restaurant will be able to seat around 60 people and is set to employ at least 12 people. In addition to lunch and dinner, a breakfast menu will also be available.
