A 17-year-old boy sadly passed away at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday (22 May) following a road accident in Tamworth on Tuesday (21 May) at 9.30am.
The teenager had been driving a motorbike when he was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Glascote Road, Tamworth. He sustained serious head injuries from the collision and was taken to hospital.
Medical staff could not save him and he died shortly after 1.45pm the next day, less than 24 hours after the accident.
Staffordshire Police have been carrying out inquiries related to the incident. They are currently appealing for information from anyone who might have recorded dashcam or doorbell footage.
