A 17-year-old from Stoke-on-Trent was arrested on suspicion of supplying crack cocaine on Wednesday (19 June).
As part of an ongoing operation, Staffordshire Police were executing a search warrant of a property on Chaplin Road, Longton.
Police also searched a property on St John Street in Hanley. They recovered class-A drugs and a handgun from a nearby alleyway.
The arrested teen was later questioned in custody.
Staffordshire Police were present in both Longton and Hanley again yesterday (20 June). Enquiries remain ongoing.
Police have confirmed that this investigation is separate from the Normacot burglaries.
