Tamworth death deemed “non-suspicious”

After carrying out extensive investigative work into the death of a man in Clifton Campville, Tamworth, Staffordshire Police have now deemed the circumstances leading up to the passing as “non-suspicious”. 

Henry Coupe (50) was found dead on Netherseal Road at 5.00am on 4 June. 

Police launched a thorough investigation into the man’s death. They carried out forensic work and spoke to several people from the local area. 

In a statement, Staffordshire Police stated: “Officers found no evidence of third-party involvement and are preparing a file for HM Coroner.”

The statement continued: “We know this news came as a concern to lots of members of the local community and we’d like to reassure them that the death is not suspicious.

Our thoughts remain with Henry’s family and friends at this time.”
