Entries for the 2025 Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Tourism Awards are now open. Businesses in the hospitality and tourism sector are encouraged to apply for one of the 19 categories.
The annual awards see the county’s best experiences, venues, attractions, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and accommodations being recognised for the positive impact they have on tourism.
All winners will be automatically entered into the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence 2025. Several Staffordshire businesses have been successful in the national awards in the past, including Alton Towers Resort, Gladstone Pottery Museum, and the National Memorial Arboretum.
The county awards are organised by Staffordshire & Stoke-on-Trent Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP) in collaboration with VisitEngland.
To enter, businesses must write and submit an application. Free 90-minute workshops will be held online to explain how to submit a successful application.
These workshops will be held on Wednesday 3 July at 2.00pm and 10.30am on Tuesday 16 July.
Applications for the 2025 awards must be submitted by midnight on Monday 2 September. Information regarding the award ceremony, the categories, and the upcoming workshops can be found on the Staffordshire tourist board website.
