Staffordshire Police have charged a 59-year-old man in connection with a house fire which took place in Penkhull, Stoke-on-Trent on Friday 7 June.
Officers were called to an address on Hunter’s Way in Penkhull just after 1.00am. Upon arriving, police found the property “well-alight”.
The man charged has been accused of arson with intent to endanger life.
He is due to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Centre today (11 June).
