James Hurst (26), of Leek, has been charged in connection to the five-vehicle crash that took place in Baddeley Green on Wednesday morning (5 June).
Hurst has been charged with driving without insurance, driving without a license, driving without due care and attention, and failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
The smash occurred at 1.00am and police arrived on the scene shortly after.
Hurst had been driving a blue MG when he crashed into four parked cars. The parked cars included a red Ford KA, a green Skoda, a black Citroen, and a black Renault Clio.
He is expected to appear at North Staffordshire Justice Court today (6 June).
