A training company has bought four units inside Hanley’s Piccadilly Arcade and invested £348k to transform the space into training facilities.
Acorn Training has announced that Piccadilly Arcade will serve as its new head office.
The company, which was originally founded in Stoke-on-Trent in 2008, provides apprenticeships in learning and development, social care, and business and management, amongst other professions.
The company has nine training centres across England and employs over 180 staff members nationally.
The company’s new training centre in Piccadilly Arcade spans three floors and features kitchens, offices, and study classrooms.
Founder and manager of the company Gareth Saldanha-Fallows stated: “We are delighted to be fully established in the heart of Hanley, growing our presence, and providing opportunities. The renovation of Piccadilly Arcade demonstrates our investment in Hanley and is an important step towards helping more people to upskill and secure sustainable employment.”
