The Clough Street East car park is ‘under new management’ and offering free parking from today (28 June).
The car park, which is located between Hanley Tesco and the former Rockermans furniture store, had previously charged £4.50 per day for parking.
Motorists who have so far used the car park today have found the pay-and-display machines covered up with a sign that reads “Under new management. Free parking from Friday 28 June.”
It is not currently known how long this free parking offer will remain in place. Neither are there currently any details available regarding the new management of the car park.
