A new planning application has been submitted to Stafford Borough Council that details the demolition of 41 lock-up garages and the construction of nine new homes.
The location of the garage site is West Way, Highfields.
The council had granted permission for the demolition of the garages and the building of seven homes in 2017. However, these plans fell through.
The new plans retain the current layout of the site, with each of the two-storey homes meeting minimum space standards.
Two parking spaces will be provided for each property which the planning application states “is in line with the council’s parking requirements.”
The road that leads onto West Way will be maintained.
