Several Greene King pubs in Staffordshire are offering a free pint of their new False Nine golden ale tomorrow (29 May) to anyone who can name a false nine footballer.
A false nine is a centre-forward who often drops into deeper midfield positions. Notable false nine players include Johan Cruyff, Phil Foden, Lionel Messi, and Roberto Firmino.
This offer is only available at a select few pubs throughout the county.
Participating venues include:
- Barley Mow in Milford
- King’s Horse in Stafford
- Gatehouse in Clayton
- New Florence in Longton
- Sneyd Arms in Sneyd Green
