The Eccleshall Festival & Street Market will take over the entire town on Saturday 29 June.
This free event offers live entertainment, family-friendly activities, and delicious food stalls.
High Street will serve as the centre of the action, with non-stop performances throughout the day.
After the Mayor and Town Crier open the stage at noon, you can enjoy performances from Dappa Dance, Jo Fulham & Mick Baker, Bella Littlehales, Paw Patrol, and Matrix Club Matrix.
Holy Trinity Parish Church will host “Eccleshall’s Got Talent” from 11.00am, a talent show that anyone can enter by emailing dancenuvo@me.
At the town’s cricket club, you can spectate a match between Eccleshall Cricket Club’s 2nd XI and Sandon. EURO 2024 matches will also be broadcast at the club.
A dog show titled “Woofts!” will be held at the Little George at 12.30pm. There will be several categories that dogs can enter and talks from expert dog trainers will be held.
DJ Dave will be performing at the Kings Arms, where you’ll also find bouncy castles and inflatable games for kids. At 6.30pm, the party band 3/6d will take the stage.
Back on the High Street, you can sample some delicious street food from the Milkshake Shack, Padian Foods Malaysian, Indonesian, and Southeast Asian Food Dippy Donuts, and Jojo’s Fish Bar.
The festival falls on Armed Forces Day, so attendees are encouraged to wear army attire or don red, white, and blue coloured clothing. A prize will be given to the best dressed.
