Staffordshire Police have made two arrests in relation to the double stabbing that took place on Saturday (25 May) in Stoke-on-Trent.
A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent.
Emergency services were made aware of the first stabbing at 1.40pm. It took place in Bentilee and left the victim with ‘serious injuries’. The paramedics later called Staffordshire Police out to the scene.
At 4.15, the police found out a second victim was being treated for stab wounds at Royal Stoke University Hospital.
Neither of the victims sustained life-threatening or life-altering wounds.
The two arrested in relation to the stabbings have since been released on bail.
The police are still asking for eyewitnesses to come forward with information. Anyone with any information should contact the police on 101 and quote incident 351 of 25 May.
