Meli Cafe & Patisserie, which can be found at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet, is a must-visit for lovers of Greek and Mediterranean delicacies and customs.
The cafe stays open until 8.00pm every day except Sunday, allowing customers to enjoy al fresco coffees, teas, and cakes well past the closing time of most cafes in the area. Since opening in April, Meli has become a hit amongst those looking for a post-work place to unwind.
The cafe’s owner, who is originally from Greece, wanted to bring Mediterranean culture to Staffordshire. In Greece and other Balkan countries, it is customary for cafes to stay open after shopping hours.
The cafe also strives to celebrate the ‘art of coffee, the delights of pastries, and the comfort of wholesome meals’.
In addition to coffee, customers can enjoy fresh cakes, gourmet sandwiches, and salad bowls. The cafe also stocks highly sought-after Greek items, including olives, honey, spices, herbs, and Greek sweets.
The cafe is open from 9.30am to 8.00pm Monday to Saturday and 9.30am to 6.00pm on Sunday.
