Banarasi curry house opened its doors for the first time yesterday (20 May) after months of meticulous planning and decorating.
The new curry spot is located on the A34 between Newcastle-under-Lyme and Trent Vale, on London Road.
Ahead of launch night, the owners of the restaurant announced on Facebook that Banarasi will deliver “Great tasting foods, Instagrammable surroundings, and attentive service in a luxuriously-decorated interior”.
In terms of food, the restaurant serves a mix of classic and signature dishes, including rogan josh, bhuna, nepali, and dhabba.
A vegan menu is also available offering such specialties as lasuni shubzi and chana dhall sag.
The kids menu has been designed to introduce young customers to curry, with kormas and tikka masalas on offer.
The new restaurant is open Monday to Friday, 5.00pm – 10.00pm.
