A woman in her 70s has sadly died following a collision involving three cars on Cheadle Road, located outside Forsbrook.
A black Fiat 500, a silver Ford Fiesta, and a black Kia Picanto crashed at around 4.30pm on Sunday (21 July).
Staffordshire Police were informed about the crash just after 4.30pm. They attended the scene alongside the Midlands Air Ambulance Service and West Midlands Ambulance Service.
The emergency services did all they could to rescue those involved in the crash. Sadly, the driver of the Ford Fiesta was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men and another woman suffered from non-serious injuries. All three stayed at the scene following the crash.
“This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family of the woman who has lost her life. Specially-trained officers are supporting them at this traumatic time,” stated Sergeant Richard Moors of the Staffordshire and West Midlands Collision Investigation Unit (CIU).
Police are appealing for those with information related to the crash or who captured dashcam footage of the incident to contact them on 101, quoting incident 433 of 21 July.
