Staffordshire Police are investigating the death of a man who was found in the grounds of Stoke Minster yesterday (20 June).
The West Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene at 2.00pm after the man was found in cardiac arrest. He was later confirmed dead at the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service then called Staffordshire Police to the Glebe Street location.
A police spokesperson stated: “We’re working to establish the circumstances leading up to his death. We’re currently treating the death as unexplained and no suspicious circumstances have been found at this stage.”
Anyone who has information regarding the death should call the police on 101, quoting incident 337 of 20 June.
