Third teen dies from injuries following Penkridge crash

Staffordshire Police has sadly confirmed that a third teen has died following the single-vehicle collision that took place on Cannock Road, Penkridge last Saturday (25 May). 

The 17-year-old girl, who was one of two backseat passengers, was being treated in hospital following the crash. She passed away last night (28 May) as a result of her injuries. 

The other backseat passenger, also female and 17 years old, remains in hospital and in stable condition. 

The driver, Dafydd Hûw Craven-Jones (18), and front-seat passenger, Morgan Jones (17) were declared dead at the scene. 

The fatal crash took place just before midnight. Police are still investigating and ask anyone who has any information to come forward.
