A solicitors’ office-turned-pub has been recognised as one of the best-looking bars in Britain by the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMERA).

CAMERA recently announced its picks for Pub Design Awards for 2024, with Alsager’s bod bar, located on Crewe Road, winning the award for Conversion to Pub Use Award.

The building in which the bod cafe/bar currently occupies was once a solicitors’ office. Burselm’s Titanic Brewery repurposed the building as one of its bod bars in 2022.

In addition to carrying out interior work, Titanic Brewery created furniture from recycled materials. They even made a chandelier from recycled Titanic beer bottles.

Titanic Brewery has opened several bars and cafes across Staffordshire and Cheshire. They’ve opened bod bars in Stone, Lichfield, Matlock, Newport, Trentham, Stoke, and Stafford.

Recently, the brewery announced that they would be reopening the Pig in Lichfield under a new name, the Beacon.
