Staffordshire Police are investigating a fatal collision which killed two teenagers and left two passengers seriously injured. The incident occurred on Cannock Road in Penkridge.
Police were called to the scene by the West Midlands Ambulance Service just before midnight on Saturday (25 May).
The 18-year-old driver and 17-year-old front passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
The two backseat passengers, who are both female and 17 years old, were left seriously injured and were taken to hospital.
The Staffordshire and West Midlands Collision Investigation Unit (CIU)’s Sergeant Richard Moors stated “Specialist officers are supporting their families at this difficult time and we ask that their privacy is respected. A full and detailed investigation is now underway to establish the cause of the collision.”
