His crimes include sexual assault of a girl under 13 and raping a girl under 16.
Huthwaite (31) had been reported to the police and arrested in November 2021. He denied all allegations.
He was put to trial at the Stok-on-Trent Crown Court in January 2024. On 31 January, Huthwaite was found guilty of a total of six sexual offences.
This includes two counts of assault of a female under 13, one count of sexual assault to a female under 13, one count of rape of a female under 16, one count of sexual assault of a female over 16, and one count of attempted rape to a female over 16.
On top of his 15-year extended sentence, Huthwaite was also put on the Sex Offenders Register for life and given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
Detective Constable Tiffany Berry stated: “We were able to convict Huthwaite for his crimes thanks to the tremendous courage and bravery the survivors showed in coming forward and reporting the incidents.”
