Road resurfacing work in Biddulph will commence on Monday 3 June.

Lane closures will be implemented on the A527 between the Tunstall Road roundabout and the Wharf Road roundabout. This work is expected to take a month to complete.

Daytime road disruption may be reduced should the weather allow work to be carried out at night. Overnight road closures are planned to take place between 21 June and 1 July.

Diversion routes will be marked with signs. Letters will be sent to Biddulph residents to provide further information.

The high volume of traffic that passes over the A527 has caused significant damage to the road, which is why this resurfacing work needs to take place promptly.

This repair work is part of the Staffordshire County Council’s £50m investment into ongoing road improvements throughout the county.
