Just Scales, a pet shop that specialises in reptiles and other unusual pets, has relocated to Wolstanton.
Just Scales was formally part of Just Finns, a fish shop that was run by Mike and Jackie Lawrence for eight years.
Just Finns, which was located in Campbell Road Industrial Estate, Stoke, recently closed as a result of rising energy prices.
Now, the couple have decided to shift their focus to Just Scales exclusively. Their new shop will now be located in Wolstanton’s Morris Square. Tomorrow (Saturday 15 June) is the opening day.
The new shop will stock scorpions, tortoises, chameleons, snakes, geckos, praying mantises, bearded dragons, and a host of other animals.
A Facebook message from the Just Scales team stated: “Just Finns has been home to Just Scales since its beginnings, but now Just Scales is further expanding to new premises.”
It continued: “I’d like to say a thank you to everyone that has supported me in this journey so far, thank you to everyone that has supported Just Finns since its infancy, and hope that this presents so many more opportunities for Just Scales.”
