The We Are Middleport exhibition will open on 28 June at Middleport Pottery and will showcase the work of photographer Phil Crow.
The exhibition aims to capture how “hands on” the Stoke-on-Trent pottery industry remains. It will also show how much manual labour the job still requires.
The exhibition is also being held to celebrate 10 years of Middleport Pottery being a heritage visitor attraction.
Crow visited the Burleigh Pottery and Steelite International to capture the current generation of pottery workers. He also visited Clay College to photograph the next generation of potters.
Mr Crow stated: “It was a total pleasure to photograph just some of the talent in and around Middleport that represents this amazing and historical industry that makes up Stoke-on-Trent.”
Crow will present a free talk on the opening day of the exhibition at 11.00am.
The exhibition will run from 28 June until 1 August.
