A man was found dead yesterday (28 May) in Longton Park – also known as ‘Queens Park’ – in Stoke-on-Trent.
Paramedics were called to the scene just after 2pm.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done to save the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information is currently available regarding the circumstances of his death.
Staffordshire Police reported to the scene and remained at the park for most of the day.
Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service are yet to make a statement in relation to the incident.
