Jordan Lawlor (30), of the Stoke-on-Trent area, has been charged following the assault of a woman and a man in north Staffordshire.
Staffordshire Police were called to a home near Froghall Road, Cheadle, on Monday 27 May at 5.00pm. A man was reported to have assaulted a woman inside this address.
A man in his 80s was also assaulted at a nearby address.
Lawlor has now been charged with two counts of assault in connection to the attacks – one count of assaulting a person and one count of threatening a person with a blade.
He is due to appear today (30 May) at North Staffordshire Justice Centre.
