Staffordshire Police have stated that they’ve made four arrests in connection to the death of a man in Stoke-on-Trent.
The police were called to Buccleuch Road in Normacot by the West Midlands Ambulance Service at 12.50am on Monday (22 July).
A man had been found in an alleyway in cardiac arrest with multiple stab wounds. His injuries were serious and he sadly could not be saved.
A cordon was set up by the police in the area yesterday and enquiries were carried out.
Police have since arrested four people in connection with the fatal stabbing. The arrested men are aged 20, 23, 26, and 45 and all come from Stoke-on-Trent.
Police have stated that a high police presence will continue in the area. High visibility patrols will be present to offer support and reassurance to the local community.
Police are also appealing for anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
They’ve asked for residents of Buccleuch Road, Windsor Avenue, Chaplin Road, and Hamilton Road to check doorbell and CCTV footage for any evidence that could help with the ongoing investigation.
Any footage captured between 10.00pm on 21 July and 1.00am on 22 July could prove vital to the case.
The police have created an online portal which can be used to submit evidence related to the case.
