Moat House, one of Staffordshire’s most famous hotels, will be the focus of an upcoming national series set to air on Channel 5.
The four-part series is titled ‘The Motorway Hotel’ and will focus on the hotel’s proximity to one of the UK’s busiest motorways, the M6.
Despite the closeness of the M6, the hotel is surrounded by picturesque countryside, which the fly-on-the-wall documentary will highlight.
The series will not only give viewers the chance to see inside the hotel but also a behind-the-scenes look at how a popular family-run hotel operates.
“We’re hoping the show will illustrate just how much work and attention goes into making the guest experience what it is, and all the people behind the scenes that make it happen,” states the Operations Director of the series Emily Lewis.
The series, which was made by BriteSpark Films, was filmed between February and April 2023.
It will air on Channel 5 between Tuesday 11 June and Friday 14 June at 7.00pm each night.
