Staffordshire Police have arrested a man following a stabbing in Burton-on-Trent.
Police were called to Queen’s Hospital in Burton shortly before 10.15pm on Tuesday (23 July). A man in his 30s had arrived at the hospital with multiple stab wounds.
As of yesterday (25 July) the victim remains in hospital in a ‘critical condition’.
Police have arrested a 30-year-old man from Burton in connection to the murder attempt. According to the police report published yesterday, the suspect remains in custody.
Police are continuing their investigation into the incident and are carrying out enquries.
The exact location of where the incident occurred has not yet been stated by the police.
