A total of £80,000 worth of illegal tobacco has been seized from shops in Longton, Stoke and Tunstall in a joint operation. 
The operation was conducted by Staffordshire Police, Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s trading standards team and Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and Immigration.

Alcohol, tobacco and porn films have been sized after a police raid at an unlicensed shop in Stoke-on-Trent.

Police and Trading Standards officials found 40 bottles of vodka, cider and lager, 120 pouches of tobacco, 28 cases of 200 cigarettes and pornographic DVDs in the raid.
