New Port Vale boss Neil Aspin has admitted that he never actually applied for the vacant manager’s position at Vale Park, following the departure of Michael Brown three weeks ago.
Aspin, was appointed as the new manager of the Valiants” at a press conference. Speaking to local media, the former Vale player revealed that he never actually put his CV in for the job, but was approached by owner – Norman Smurthwaite.
