Hednesford Town have moved three points closer to promotion in the Evo-Stik Premier Division.

Their 2-0 win over promotion rivals AFC Fylde at Keys Park came courtesy of David McPherson and Michael Lennon.

While in the Evo-stik first division South Leek Town ran in 6 goals as they beat basement club Hucknall 6-1 goals from Daniel Shelley, Tim Grice (2), Peter Wright (2) and Michael Thomas saw Leek come away with all three points. While Hucknalls goal was scored by Mitchell Slewton.
