Newcastle-under-Lyme MP Paul Farrelly has hit out at the government over pension changes which leave hundreds of thousands of women out of pocket.

A rise in the state pension age for women from 60 to 65, phased in between 2010 and 2020, was included in the Pensions Act 1995 – however 2011 the then Conservative-Lib Dem coalition brought forward the 65 age for women to 2018.
