Crime Fake fraud investigation £20,000 stolen police warn

Six people have been arrested on suspicion of drug offences as part of an on-going operation across Staffordshire.

Two men, aged 20 and 43, and a 17-year-old youth from South Birmingham were arrested yesterday (November 12) on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Four members of an organised crime group have been jailed for 30 years after being found guilty of conspiring to supply 1kg of cocaine into Staffordshire.

The four men, Staffordshire and Oldbury areas, were sentenced following a six-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court.

Longton Five arrests made as part of on-going drug operation

Three men have been arrested in the Longton area by Staffordshire Police in the latest crackdown on drugs in the city.

The latest arrest, a 32-year-old man, happened at around 1.45am today (October 18) when officers searched a house on Ashwood, Longton and found a quantity of class A drugs and money.
