It’s that time of year again where people up and down the UK have been raising money to help change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

Events were held around Stoke-on-Trent today to raise money for Children in Need.
Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College held a “Superhero” dress up day as well as a cake sale, face painting and a variety of stalls.

Hanley Park hosted a special Children in Need funded project that aims to “get kids excited about wildlife and nature”.
Wildplay, which is run by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust, encourages children to get involved with nature by organising outdoor activities.
Seventy-five “athletes” put on their running trainers at the Staffordshire Police headquarters to raise money for Children in Need.
“Let’s Tri For Pudsey” is an inter-departmental mini triathlon, with officers and staff, including the Chief Constable Jane Sawyers and Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Arnold, getting involved.
Weird and wonderful fundraising events have been held across Staffordshire, to help raise money for Children in Need.
Thousands of residents across Staffordshire are pulling together all in the name of Children In Need.
Dressing up, baking cakes, and shaving legs are some of the crazy antics some people are involved in today (November 15).
