The Weeping Window sculpture has won an honour at the Enjoy Staffordshire Tourism Awards at the National Memorial Arboretum.

The Window was on display at Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent from early August until September 16 before moving on.

When mother Anne Devenney lost her little boy to a rare disease, it gave her the inspiration and determination to help others.

Anne, 40, of Tamworth, Staffordshire, set up a charity in memory of her 20-month-old son who died from the rare blood disorder, histiocytosis.

The mum-of-three, a consultant for Slimming World in Tamworth, set up the charity Cameron’s Smile to raise awareness of the disease, with support from her bricklayer husband, John.
