Celebrations across the county took place today in honour of Staffordshire Day!
Every year on the 1st of May, Staffordshire comes alive with a variety of events to celebrate everything that is great about the county – and this year was no different.
Summer is fast approaching and there are lots of things to do in Staffordshire that you might not have even considered. Whether that’s somewhere to visit with the kids, or something to do as adults.
Staffordshire Day is celebrated on the 1st May, and was launched in 2015 by South Staffordshire MP, Gavin Williamson to promote the county of Staffordshire.
Staffordshire’s biggest TV, Film, Comic and Memorabilia convention, Stoke Con Trent is returning to Staffordshire University on Sunday 15 April.
This will be Stoke Con Trent’s eighth event. In past years, the team have successfully held sold out events bi-annually since 2014, with a host of celebrity guest appearances.

Not only do the costumes add to each circus theme, they also need to be made to withstand ropes, acrobatics and quick changes.
