Music White Lies

White Lies carried on the tour of their latest album ‘Friends’ with a performance worth the 8 year wait for fans in attendance at Keele University.
The band were supported by local band Divine Youth and London outfit Anteros, who both helped set the scene of an 80’s scented night, particularly lead singer of Anteros , Laura Hayden, who strutted about with a Debbie Harry-esque stage presence.

Back then, being gay was illegal, so homosexual men would use a language of their own called Polari to communicate.
