Crime puppies - Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court

A Uttoxeter man pretended to be a vet to sell off puppies using fraudulent paperwork, a court heard.

Kelvin Brown, 33, of Heathfield Road, Uttoxeter, fraudulently signed documents claiming  number of puppies on Trippyhills Farm in Staffordshire, had been correctly vaccinated by his cousin, Lucy Guntripp.


Nearly half of univeristy students can’t afford to move into accommodation, new research by UNiDAYS shows.

Crime Packmoor drink driver

A woman has been handed a 12-month suspended prison sentence and banned from driving for five years after she crashed into two vehicles and fled the scene while more than two times over the drink-drive limit.

Nicola Lawton, 31, of Moorhan Way, Packmoor, was driving an Audi A3 through Newchapel, Newcastle-under-Lyme, on December 20 last year when she crashed into a bus with two passengers on board.
